At Hofy, we offer a wide range of products that our procurement specialists carefully monitor. While the number of products we offer is fairly static, we do rely on outside manufacturers around the world to supply us with these products. Therefore, if a manufacturer is discontinuing a product, Hofy reserves the right to remove it from our product offerings as we are no longer able to offer it to our customers. However, if a product is being upgraded, we will replace the discontinued product with the updated model.
Due to the global shortages in various minerals and valuable metals since 2021, there have been global supply chain issues resulting in chip shortages. Consequently, there may be a time when Hofy needs to swap the originally ordered item and substitute it for a similar specification. In such cases, we will reach out to Hofy Managers to propose an alternative.
[ACCORDION] Catalogue notifications
When Hofy must remove a product from our catalogue because the manufacturer has discontinued it and we are no longer able to obtain inventory, it is important that our customers have visibility into this change. Hofy organisation managers now have the option to turn on notifications when new items are added to or removed from the catalogue.
By default, the notification is turned on when in-app. To receive an email with these notifications, visit your 'Profile' to review and update your notification settings.
[ACCORDION] Apple MacBook transition from M1 to M2 chip
Apple products are in high demand from Hofy customers. In July 2022, Apple announced that they would discontinue MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips and transition to Macbook M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. Following this announcement, Hofy will only be able to supply MacBooks devices with M1 chips while stocks last in a region.
If an order cannot be fulfilled with the M1 model, the order will need to be canceled and placed again with an available model. There will be no cancellation fees applied to orders canceled for unavailable M1 chip models.
Similarly, the global demand for monitors from home office workers has increased, resulting in a limited supply of new monitors.

When ordering a product with a limited supply or special customisations, such as keyboard language variants, configure to order devices or off-catalogue requests, customers may experience longer delivery times from Hofy. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that all orders are fulfilled and delivered timely, but these unique circumstances may affect shipping times.
If there are any delays in shipping your order, we will communicate this information with you promptly. Additionally, customers can view lead times for each product in our catalogue's product descriptions.
