Postpone a release
If a release falls at an inconvenient time for your team, such as during payroll close or an audit, you can postpone it by 3 months. No need to contact Deel or wait for approval; you can do this yourself.
✅ Step 1 – Find the release
In Release View, find the upcoming release you want to postpone. Releases you can postpone show a Postpone button with the new postponement date.
✅ Step 2 – Click Postpone
Click Postpone release until DATE.
Once you postpone a release, it’s scheduled for your organization on the new date shown.
✅ Step 3 – Change your mind at any time
To remove the postponement, click Cancel.
If your organization’s rollout group has already received the release, it becomes available to you right away. If not, it arrives with your group on the original schedule.
Postponement rules:
A postponement lasts until 3 months after the release’s final rollout date, and the Postpone button shows you the exact date. You can postpone each release once.
If you cancel a postponement, you can postpone that release again, as long as it hasn’t already rolled out to all customers.
Some releases can’t be postponed, such as important payroll, compliance, or security changes. These don’t show a Postpone button. A postponement applies to your whole organization.
How releases reach your organization
Deel rolls out releases in phases so that every customer gets a smooth experience. Enterprise accounts receive releases last, after they’ve passed quality checks with other customers. To see when a release is planned to reach your organization, check the Release View.
