This article explains how clients with direct employees that aren't being paid via Deel payroll services can still upload and view employee payslips on the Deel platform.
You can still upload payslips for your employees onto Deel, and attribute the payslips to either a monthly payroll cycle or a custom date range.
Once uploaded, both you and the employee can view and download the payslips from the platform.
✅ Step 1 - Select Payslips
In the left sidebar, select People. If People is collapsed, select it once to expand its submenu, then select Directory.

In the Directory, select the direct employee in the Person column. Use search and filters as needed, and verify the employee’s country, worker type, and worker status before opening the profile.

In the Employee profile, use the left-side navigation to select (2) Payslips. If it is not immediately visible, scroll within the profile navigation panel. Payslips appears below Time off and above Documents.

The Payslips page opens. You may see existing payslips or a No payslips yet message.

✅ Step 2 - Upload payslips
On the employee’s Payslips page, click Upload payslips.

In the Upload payslips dialog, select the upload scope. Select For [employee name] to upload for the employee whose profile is open, or select For multiple employees to upload payslips for more than one employee.

Drag and drop the payslip PDF, or browse to select it. After finishing the file upload click Continue.
✅ Step 3 - Attribute payslips
The client must attribute each payslip they uploaded. Choose the correct date range for each payslip using a monthly payroll cycle, or enter custom dates.
The clients can choose to notify their employees via email that payslips are being uploaded to the platform.
✅ Step 4 - Click Confirm and Continue
Click Continue, review the details, and then click Confirm and continue.
Once the payslips are uploaded, the client can download them or delete them from the Payslips menu.
