Only inactive worker profile (terminated or offboarded) can be deleted.

Deleting a Worker Profile
✅ Step 1 - Navigate to the People icon
Click on the People icon on the homescreen and select the People tab.
In the list of workers, locate the inactive worker and click on their name to access their profile.
✅ Step 2 - Delete the Worker Profile
In the worker profile, navigate to the Contracts section. If the worker is no longer active, you will see an option to Delete Profile.
Click Delete, and confirm the action when prompted.
Alternatively, you can also delete a worker's profile through the all people list.
Locate the inactive worker you want to delete in the list and click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to their name. Select Delete Profile and confirm the deletion.
Please note that once the profile is deleted, worker won't be able to access their Deel Profile. This action cannot be undone.

Organization-Initiated Profile Deletion (This Article)
- What it is: An admin removes a worker's profile from the Deel organization to clean up inactive records
- Eligibility: Only terminated or offboarded workers (inactive contracts)
- Who can do it: Organization admin
- Result: Worker profile is deleted from the organization; worker can no longer access their Deel profile
Individual Worker GDPR Data Deletion Request
- What it is: An individual worker submits a request to permanently delete their personal data from Deel systems (GDPR compliance)
- Who can request it: The individual worker themselves
- Requirements: May require identity verification and compliance review
- Result: Worker's data is removed from Deel per GDPR/privacy regulations
- How to handle: If a worker requests deletion of their personal data, escalate to Deel Support or your TechOps team for proper handling of GDPR compliance
